Who this website is for

Those who think the Bible is too difficult to understand, especially Bible prophecy.

Those who desire a visually friendly chronological and logical arrangement of the Bible and want to know where the prophetic writings and Psalms fit in with the historical accounts.

Those who challenge the validity of the Bible.

Those who have read little or none of the Bible.

Those who have been hurt by erroneous teachings and hypocrisy in church or cult leadership.

Scientists, Archaeologists, Investigators, All professions of honest unbiased study are welcome.

Anyone who wants to know for themselves what the Bible really says instead of what they have been led to believe it says.

Anyone who is very serious about Bible Study, or not.

Interrogated?

If you got your definition of Interogation from watching law enforcement and military shows/movies on the television then you likely have a distorted view of what interrogation is. Interrogation (in the context of this Interrogated Bible) is simply:

to understand what is being presented and what the truth is without filtering the information through preconceptions or presuming/assuming anything.

I interrogate using methods similar to what Kay Arthur (founder of Precept Ministries International - https://www.precept.org) teaches in her Bible study classes. I then present the Interrogated Bible in the following manner:

For a detailed explanation read the Preface which can be accessed from the Viewing web page (click Viewing on the menu bar or "View and/or download..." on the side bar).

Acts 17:11  These (Note: the Jews in Berea) were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

Discovering the Truth for Yourself

One of the biggest mistakes anyone can make is to make a mere assumption and then look for evidence that backs up that assumption while ignoring evidence that challenges that assumption. An honest and diligent person tests his own assumptions and does not rely solely on his feelings nor exclusively on what others have said:

I have noticed that some publications that have been "professionally" produced can cite sources that have no relation to what the author is asserting.

The same thing applies to certain religious cults intentionally deceiving their readers by creating references to Bible verses in parentheses that have little or nothing to do with the assertion they are making. They also fail to mention verses that challenge their assertions. So it may be up to the reader to verify, which can at times be extremely and painfully tedious.

Note: The one making the assertion is actually the one responsible for bearing the burden of proof. Most people don’t realize this and become victims of false assertions either in the classroom, courtroom, or whatever arena of potential debate.

Compatibility

Worst: Smartphone
Reason: worst perception of content

Better: Tablet (Examples: iPad, Samsung, Windows tablet, Kindle, Amazon Fire)

Best: Full blown PC or Mac - Workstation or Laptop
Reason: Most accurate perception of content

The Screenshots page will not display properly on Android devices. I hope I can correct this problem soon.

A display pixel resolution of roughly 1024 x 768 or greater for viewing single documents.
Reason: Tables comparing different accounts of the same event. For example: Kings in parallel with Chronicles and Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John in parallel.

Question: What is a pixel? I'm not a computer geek!
Answer: Well, to put it as simple as possible; your computer and television screens are made up of lots and lots of teeny weeny little dots. Now to display a single pixel of color you have to gather a few of those dots together. One shines red, another green, and another blue. Some manufacturers may choose to add a yellow dot to the mixture. The intensity of each of those colors will determine the color that particular pixel will display. The more pixels in a certain width by height (for example 1920 X 1080 verses 720 X 480), the higher the resolution. Pixel resolution can be defined by the user making choices in a preferences window but the maximum resolution is limited by the hardware. When a lower resolution display is selected more dots are gathered into a group that make up a single pixel. The higher the resolution selected the smaller the objects will appear on your screen which means you can view more objects (like windows and applications) on a single screen.

Note: If you view the Word documents with other than Microsoft Word or Microsoft Word Viewer then the contents of the columns will not in many cases align properly.

The .pdf versions/conversions of the original .docx documents are available. I have not tested the alignment of content within tables in other than Adobe's PDF viewer.

The copyright dilemma

Due to copyright restrictions imposed by the publishers of the more recent translations of the Bible most ministry websites are limited to publishing public domain older versions of the Bible, which language structures (actual meaning of certain words and phrases) are not readily understood by later generations. Thus, the King James Version of this chronological and logical arrangement of the Bible will have to suffice for now. See the preface of the Interrogated Bible to see how I addressed this issue or simply just read this Bible and see for yourself.

There are legitimate reasons for copyrighting a Bible translation; the primary reasons being to prevent the perpetuation of erroneous translations and distortions of an original translation. Bible translation is an extremely tedious and demanding task requiring uninterrupted trains of thought during the various processes.

Truthful translation is based on careful study of the original source of the text, the culture of the meaning of words in that specific time period, and the context of a paragraph, passage, book, and overall Bible itself. Then there is the skill of balancing the literal translation and the correct meaning translation for a present culture. The same word and phrases can mean different things in different cultures.

So here we have a conflict between a translator's need to make a living and ministry websites needing a more recent translation of the Bible that relates to certain cultures (in order for that ministry to be more effective for honorable reasons). Paying royalties to the publisher for many ministries means no website, or having to use an archaic translation of the Bible, which defeats the genuine purpose of the ministry. Then there comes the temptation to create a Bible as a novel or "Readers Digest condensed version" which could be just what God ordered or a great disaster.

On one hand it costs money and lots of time to publish a Bible, even this website. On the other hand we are commanded by God to share the gospel of Jesus Christ without charge. Yet the biological needs of food and shelter require money as far as humans are concerned (who rebelled against God, wanting to be God in God's place, and who set up the systems of commerce we take for granted today). All other lifeforms on this planet don't have a money system of commerce.

So how does a ministry function without begging for money or collecting royalties for publications?

Regarding incoming calls on our home and cell phones: On our pre-recorded outgoing message is this: "...We screen our calls against telemarketers, professional beggars of money, and politicians ...". My wife and I get incessant and frequent mails from so called ministries begging for money using the persecution scam and/or some other "urgency", even from well established ministries of fame but who are ineffective in their ministries, not for lack of money but for their misuse of it, and in reality, lack of faith in and obedience to Jesus Christ. Effective and righteous ministries don't have to beg for money as people actually beg to give them money to perpetuate the ministry.

So...How do you publish a Bible that is accurate and readily understood by your intended audience for no charge, a Bible that cannot be misundertood by those who are honestly seeking the truth? How about righteous living, faith, prayer, revelation from the Holy Spirit within you, unwavering obedience to Jesus Christ, good money management and income from from legitimate work, and people who believe in you and know you well and your good character. Note: the apostle Paul made tents to support his ministry. He did accept money from those who begged to support his ministry as did Jesus when He did his ministry on earth. You (myself included) have to learn the art of balancing your time between intellectual pursuits, the basic necessities, and mixing in with well with your neighbors and co-workers, gaining their trust, confidence, and curiosity as to why you are so loving and discerning, etc in order to share the love of Jesus. It all has to be a labor of love, period!

Maybe too idealistic? I too am under conviction and the grace of Jesus Christ has gotten me through thus far. It is the Lord's work on me and through this imperfect me that this publication is even possible. OK, let's not get so proud of our humility!

Love, grace, blessings, healings, wisdom, and discernment to those who honestly seek the truth.
